About the Instructor: Leah Velez loves writing stories with a touch of strange, weird, spooky, and/or music. The kinds of stories that leave image stains in your mind. She also likes hats. Both physical, and job-related metaphorical hats. Among many other things, she is the Content and Curriculum Coordinator at Wordcrafters in Eugene, and also the Founder of Teach Write Now, a story-based education development company. Her latest story, “Requiem for a Troll” is coming out in an anthology this month from Soteira Press.
